When is the Westpac Assist service available?
Westpac Assist is available on 1800 067 497 from 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday (AEST).

Can anyone use the Westpac Assist service?
No. Only Westpac customers are able to use the Westpac Assist service, in times when you find yourself over-committed on your Westpac loans or accounts.

Is the Westpac Assist service available at a branch?
No. Westpac Assist is a phone-based service. If one of our Branch or Telephone Banking representatives is unable to help you regarding your specific situation, they may provide you with a copy of our brochure and encourage you to contact us directly.

Will I ever have to see someone face-to-face?
Possibly. Most actions will be handled over the phone, but some may require you to visit a branch for further discussion or for you to sign to accept changes to your account(s).

Do the Westpac Assist team provide financial counseling?
No. The Westpac Assist team may suggest to some customers that they contact an independant financial counsellor about their overall financial situation.
