"What's exciting is that we have the ability to make real change at the organisational level. We're able to improve the way things are being done - for example, putting new processes in place that improve the outcome of projects. We have to be mindful of the impact our decisions have on the business and therefore need to work closely with people across the enterprise, influencing and negotiating with stakeholders to ensure that change is made for the better."

"Supporting those who actively run the company gives me an enormous sense of enjoyment and satisfaction. Our primary customers are the executive managers, and it's our job to ensure that their decisions are effective, efficient, and implemented across the enterprise. We're interacting with people from all parts of Westpac, so we work to create a project investment framework that is as simple, clear and logical as possible. We're laying the foundations for multilevel decision making which will impact and influence outcomes across the board. Balancing the needs of the individual business units with the needs of the whole company is a key part of what we do."
