Switch your credit card account

Follow the steps below to switch to Westpac.

1. Open a new Westpac credit cards/Debit MasterCard account

2. Change existing direct debit details - Use our online form to generate letters to send to any service providers once your new card is ready. (E.g. health fund membership) For contact details of your service providers, look on your bills or search the white pages.

3. Set up Card Autopay - if you would like automatic payments made to your credit card each month to help you pay off your balance, set up Card Autopay by calling 1300 651 089.

4. Cancel your old credit card - allow time for your direct debits to transfer over to your new Westpac credit card before contacting your previous financial institution to close your old account.
