Questioning your transactions?

Please follow these steps if you think there is a mistake with your gift card transactions:

Step 1

Ensure that the transaction amount is correct before you sign sales vouchers or transaction records given to you by merchants. By signing a sales voucher or transaction record you indicate your agreement that the transaction amount is correct. You also agree that the amount shown on any sales voucher or transaction record is sufficient evidence of the cash price of the goods or services to which that voucher or transaction record relates.

Step 2

Check the transactions shown online or provided by phone carefully.

Step 3

If you wish to dispute an amount deducted from your Westpac MasterCard® Gift Card, please complete the Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF Disputed Transactions Form (PDF 49kb), and post the original signed copy to:

Westpac MasterCard Gift Card
GPO Box 3433
Sydney NSW 2001

Please note that this service is provided by an external company, eFunds Prepaid Solutions.

Note

If you do not dispute an amount within 90 days from the date of the transaction, our ability to obtain a refund (if applicable) may be restricted under the MasterCard scheme rules. Please read clause 7.2 of the Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF Conditions of Use (PDF 70kb) to obtain details of your liability where unauthorised transactions are made using the gift card.
