Product overview

Provides a lump sum to help cover expenses associated with, but not limited to, medical treatment - expenses that your income protection plan may not completely cover.

Use the lump sum however you wish, including mortgage repayments, medical treatment, home care or modifications - even an overseas holiday to recuperate.

A lump sum payment is made if the insured person suffers one of 8 specified serious medical conditions before age 65 and survives at least 14 days.

Covered 24 hours a day, world wide until age 65
Premiums are set annually and based on age, gender, whether you smoke and the level of cover chosen
A benefit is paid if the insured person suffers one of the following medical conditions:
- Cancer
- Coronary artery bypass surgery
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Kidney failure
- Paralysis
- Loss of independent existence
Payments can be made by automatic monthly deductions from any account
