Investment objective and strategy
To provide capital growth over the medium to long term (at least four years) from a portfolio that is well diversified among the major asset classes.

The Fund invests in assets either directly or indirectly via other managed investments (including Westpac) so that the underlying assets of the Fund:

  • Consist of a diversified portfolio across the major investment sectors
  • Have a significant emphasis on bonds/debt securities and Australian and international shares
Target investment mix
The illustration below outlines the standard allocation range of each investment type for the Fund. The actual investment mix may vary depending on market conditions.
Income-only investments 10% (5-25%), International Shares 15%(5-25%) Australian shares 25% (15-35%), Property securities 10%(0-20%), International Bonds/Debt Securities 10%(0-20%), Australian bonds/Debt securities 30% (20-40%)

This Fund is suitable for investors who:
  • Have an investment timeframe of at least four years
  • Want a well-diversified spread of investment returns derived from income-type investments as well as capital growth
  • Are comfortable with the fact that the value of their investment will change daily
  • Wish to reduce potential volatility with a diversified portfolio.
