    The Executive Connection (TEC)
TEC is an international organisation providing ongoing learning and development for chief executives, managing directors and business owners.

Westpac has joined forces with the Brisbane arm of TEC to support the ERplus program for leading women in business. Chief Executive Women (CEW)
Chief Executive Women represents women in leadership positions across Australia. Members come from the corporate sector, various professions, academia and the public and not-for-profit sectors.

Its aim is to ensure talented women filter through into important leadership roles in Australia. Westpac sponsors Chief Executive Women and partners them in a range of networking events.
    Global Banking Alliance
The Global Banking Alliance was formed in 2000, when the OECD in Paris convened its 2nd Global Conference on Women Entrepreneurs and selected Fleet Bank of Boston, Royal Bank of Canada, the Bank of Ireland - and Westpac - as leaders in delivering financial services to women.

The mission of the Alliance is to work together across international boundaries to help female entrepreneurs grow their businesses and give all women the chance to increase their wealth.

In October 2007, Westpac Women's Markets team welcomed 11 international female bankers, including representatives from 4 African banks and Global Banking Alliance affiliate, Mi-Bospo, to a 4-day conference in Sydney. The conference provided a forum to foster learning and the exchange of inspirational ideas about how to provide businesswomen, no matter where they are, with the best in financial products, service and advice.

Women's Markets continues to support the Global Banking Alliance through a range of initiatives and in 2008 will again welcome guests to the conference in Sydney.
