Westpac trade finance

A flexible short-term fixed rate finance facility – available in most major currencies – that can obtain pre-shipment finance for up to 30 days, or post-shipment finance (up to a limit of 180 days including any pre-shipment finance):

$20,000 preferred minimum
Credit period less than 180 days.

EFIC headway

A guarantee product designed to assist Australian small to medium sized enterprises involved in exporting that enables Westpac to lend additional funds where otherwise we would not be able to assist:

Credit period less than 1 year
Minimum $50,000 limit.

Negotiations

Westpac can provide short term, post shipment finance by negotiating (or buying) the bill of exchange for up to 100% of its face value:

Credit period less than 180 days
No minimum limit.

Without recourse

Refers to Westpac purchasing and discounting trade documentation presented by an exporter in full compliance with the terms and conditions of an export documentary credit.

Credit period less than 1 year.
