Questions and answers

Does it cost extra to have an additional cardholder?

Your additional cardholder will receive both Altitude Business Limited Edition credit cards, at no extra cost. Simply nominate an additional cardholder (over 16 years of age) in your application form.

Can I link my Altitude Business Limited Edition cards with my other Westpac accounts?

You can link your Altitude Business Limited Edition MasterCard to any Westpac personal transaction account (currently not available on business accounts), then use it for both your credit purchases and your banking – this means with your Altitude Business Limited Edition MasterCard you'll be able to:
  • Access cash from financial institutions and ATMs around the world
  • Move money between accounts using Business Online or Telephone Banking
  • See all your accounts, view your Altitude points balance and much more online

How long will it take to receive my credit cards?

You'll have your cards within 21 days from the day we receive your application. If you apply online, you'll receive your cards within 14 working days.

What could cause my application to be rejected?

Usually because part of your application doesn't meet our lending criteria. This could be a result of either insufficient business or personal income, a poor credit rating, not being an Australian resident or if you're under 18.

I often shop online – am I protected against credit card fraud?

Yes. With Altitude Business Limited Edition cards, you're 100% covered against any unauthorised charges when online. Just notify us by the due date shown on your credit card statement. If the goods aren't delivered, you can claim the full amount back to your account.

What happens if I lose my card overseas?

Just call +61 2 9374 7082. We can usually provide an emergency replacement card for you within two business days. (An overseas courier cost will be charged to your account.) You can also request an emergency cash advance of up to A$500*, and once you've advised us that your card is missing, you aren't liable for any subsequent misuse.

Who do I call if I need help overseas?

For help in an emergency contact American Express Emergency Assist on +61 2 9273 2730 for legal and medical advice.

*Subject to your available credit limit and the credit card account being in good standing at the time.
