The PC-EFTPOS system is designed to run on any Windows based operating system. It comprises an Ingenico EFTPOS terminal, and PC software that is integrated into the point of sale (POS) system.

The system scales easily from one lane to an entire chain of stores. The PC-EFTPOS system isolates the POS from any changes made to the EFTPOS system (including hardware upgrades and bank changes). The system has been operational in Australia and New Zealand for the past 8 years.

The PC-EFTPOS combination is capable of utilising many different models of Ingenico EFTPOS terminals for the security and card reading functions of the EFTPOS system. It is also capable of switching between different terminals without any changes to the POS system. This ensures any future changes to EFTPOS hardware do not require any change to POS systems.

Future proof system

The PC-EFTPOS terminals are the fully Europay, MasterCard and Visa (EMV) compatible (Level 1 & 2)

The PC-EFTPOS software provides a hardware independent layer between the POS and the EFT terminal. This allows you to choose any of our terminals without POS changes.

Eftpos Management System (EMS)

EMS provides a full SQL database for all EFTPOS transactions and terminal parameters. This database can be accessed via standard ODBC commands which allow developers to extract information from the EMS and merge it with existing data.

The remote maintenance functionality allows a support operator to remotely assist with any EFTPOS related issue at the POS.

Software and parameter downloads allow full maintenance and configuration of all EFTPOS terminals in the network.

Flexible communication options

The PC-EFTPOS system supports all communication options from single store dial-up through to full wide area network.
