Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI)


TCCI provides services in the areas of industrial relations, trade facilitation and business and economic services. Advice and advocacy are available on a wide range of issues including workers compensation, enterprise agreements, apprenticeships/traineeships and award rates. Low cost accreditation programs are also accessible. Export Access is a program designed to assist small and medium sized enterprises in breaking into export markets.

Entrepreneur Business Centre (EBC)


The Entrepreneur Business Centre (EBC) is Australia's leading provider of industry based information and resources for the small business sector. Accountants can help you with your financial management. You should call either the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants on (03) 6234 8244 or the Institute of Chartered Accountants on (03) 6223 4115 for a referral.

AusIndustry provides access to government programs to support businesses that are doing research and development, exporting or developing import replacements, or supplying firms involved in international trade. For more information you should call the AusIndustry Hotline on 132 846.

Industry Associations provide advice and assistance relevant to their industry. Examples of their groups include the Retail Traders Associations, Master Builders Association, Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (Inc) amongst others. You should contact the Industry Association that best covers your business type.
