Office of the Small Business Advocate
The Advocate investigates complaints about government from small businesses and negotiates on behalf of the complainant. They work with government agencies to encourage business friendly approaches to small business in policies, practices and procedures. They also monitor government policies and provides feedback on their impact on small business. The office does not provide legal advice nor does it help in trader to trader disputes. It resolves issues between businesses and government by conciliation, cooperation and discussion.

Examples of their groups include the Retail Traders Associations, Master Builders Association, Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (Inc) amongst others.
