Winners and losers in a mixed bag this winter harvest


Global prices and domestic production fluctuated across commodities and regions.

The weakening Australian dollar prevented what could have otherwise been an extreme month for global agricultural commodity prices.

Background Information

ObjectiveTo track the movement of as well as provide insight on key commodity prices through an index based on Australia's 8 main farm exports: wheat, beef, barley, wool, cotton, sugar, dairy and canola.
