  • To provide up-to-date information on agribusiness issues in regional Australia, from examining business owner's perceptions of business performance, profit, costs, investment, inventory, employment issues and more.

Data Source
  • Results derived from a nationwide survey, conducted by the Western Research Institute, of 1200 businesses in the agribusiness sector.
  • The survey includes agriculture producers as well as suppliers to agriculture (upstream) and related transport, manufacturing, wholesale and retail businesses (downstream).
  • The aim of the survey is to provide a timely snapshot of agribusiness across Australia.
