Farm Management Deposits (FMD) scheme for primary producers provides tax concessions and effective risk management benefits. FMD operates in a similar way to a term deposit and can assist in smoothing out the ups and downs associated with the business , seasonal and economic cycles of Agribusiness. FMD provide flexibility and choice in investment and farm management decisions.

  • Minimum deposit of $1000 with a maximum of $400,000 held with one institution. 1
  • Deposit may be fully tax deductible in the year deposit made and fully taxable in the year withdrawn.2
  • Flexible terms available but the deposit must be held for a minimum of 12 months.
  • No bank fees
  • Bonus interest rates for amounts from $20,000 to less than $250,000 (not available in conjunction with any other special offer).
