Westpac Direct Equity Investments ("WDEI") invests equity capital in businesses that require funding for the following purposes:
- Expansion of an existing business
- Acquisition financing
- Succession planning.
We aim to invest in businesses that have a:
- strong management team with a clear business plan
- proven history of performance with developed products and an established customer base
- strong industry position with attractive structure and growth outlook.
Our broad investment parameters are:
- maximum WDEI ownership of 49%
- investment horizon of 3 to 5 years with a clear exit strategy
- company typically has an enterprise value of $20 - $150m.
