- Electronic transfers
- Card payments (Credit and Debit/EFTPOS)

I want to accept cash and cheques
Some customers may still prefer to pay using cash or cheque. This is slower than other options and involves more administration, but we can help make it quicker and easier.
Usually it takes 3 days to clear a cheque, but we can arrange early clearance or even immediate access. Fees apply for these services.
If it’s convenient to get to a branch, you can deposit your cash and cheques without queuing using Business Express Deposit. However it can take valuable time out of your business to get to a branch. Use our Direct pick-up or Cheque pick-up services. We’ll arrange to collect your cash and cheques, saving you the time it takes to make deposits.
If you’re concerned about cheques bouncing, Certegy cheque warranty can give you a complete on the spot guarantee on almost all forms of cheque payment. This is an optional feature available only on EFTPOS Extra Standard.
I want to accept electronic transfers
Get your customers to make payments directly into your bank accounts. It’s more secure, gets the funds into your account more quickly and is easier to track.
Payment can be credited directly to your bank account usually within 24 to 48 hours.
Make sure you provide your customers (in writing) your full account details including the branch number (BSB).
I want to accept card payments
Research shows that customers spend more when they’re able to pay by card. And as well as accepting cards over the counter, you have the flexibility of accepting payments over the Internet, over the phone, fax and by mail.
Accepting card payments offers these advantages:
- Improvements in cash flow as you don’t need to supply store credit, lay-by or similar facilities
- The possibility of minimising bad debts related to cheque handling
- Improved security as you’re keeping less cash on the premises.
