Choose between Westpac Hosted Website Payments or a Third Party Payment Gateway.

Both solutions:

  • Accept major credit cards
  • Provide immediate response when accepting or declining card transactions
  • Require the domain name of your website to match the business name
  • Use the latest encryption technology
  • Offer 24/7 customer service and support network
  • Must be linked to a Westpac business transaction account, enabling funds to be paid into your account within 24 hours1.

Service rates, fees and charges vary for each solution. Contact a merchant specialist who can help assess which merchant payment solution might be best for your business, and provide a quote. All applications for a merchant facility or PayWay module are subject to Bank approval.

Westpac Hosted Website Payments Third Party Payment Gateway
  • Checkout page is securely hosted by Westpac and customised with your logo
  • Able to work in conjunction with other PayWay modules
    such as Virtual Terminal giving your staff the capability to process MoTo (Mail Order/Telephone Order) payments
  • Westpac will secure the credit card details; no need to be PCIDSS compliant.
  • Requires an established business website with an accredited third party gateway provider relationship in place
  • Enables online payments to be completed seamlessly
  • Payment processing for real time, batch and phone (integrated voice recognition) transactions.

Things you should know
  • 1. Online funds will generally be paid into your account within 24 hours if you have a Westpac account and settlement occurs at 6pm (Sydney time). On weekends and public holidays, funds will be received on the next business day.
