Features
Tailor your insurance to protect your business against a wide range of events.
Property
Buildings, contents and stock are covered for a range of events including fire, explosion, earthquake, and storm.
Business interruption
Insure your business's gross income, or weekly income, payroll, and any rental expenses, so you can continue trading should your business be interrupted by any of the events listed in your policy.
Theft and money
Provides cover for:
- Theft of contents and stock
- Monies while in transit, on your premises or in your private residence
- Damage to locks
- Injury during theft
- Replacement for clothing, tools or personal effects.
Glass
The insurer will pay the amount insured to replace external and internal glass, as well as specified glass items such as signs.
Public and product liability
The insurer will pay compensation for personal injury, or damage to property, including liability arising from the ownership of buildings or land in connection with your business.
Employee dishonesty
Provides cover against fraudulent or dishonest actions committed by your employees that directly results in loss of money, negotiable instruments or goods.
Machinery, pressure equipment and goods in cold chambers
Covers damage to:
- Machinery caused by mechanical or electrical breakdown
- Boilers and pressure equipment caused by explosion and collapse
- Goods in cold chambers caused by power supply interruptions.
Computer systems and electronic equipment
There are two choices of cover to select from under this policy.
Section A
Provides a choice of 3 covers:

Fire and perils

Accidental damage, including theft

Breakdown.
Section B
Includes cover for Business interruption as a result of a financial loss incurred under Section A, such as the increased cost of working and reinstating data.
General property
Primarily covers property, excluding stock, that is carried around, such as tools of trade or laptops. Multiple choices, and variations of cover, can be included depending on the type of business conducted.
Taxation investigation
Covers costs incurred by your accountant, or registered tax agent, when notified by the Australian Taxation Office, to conduct an audit or investigation into your tax liability.
