Earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points and redeem for flights or other rewards1

  • Earn 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer point for every $1.50 spent on purchases using your BusinessChoice Rewards credit card
  • Points are credited to the individual cardholder's own Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account
  • Redeem for flights or other rewards in the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.

Each cardholder needs to register their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number to earn and redeem points. You can register by completing our online form Registration of Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number (PDF 81kb) or calling 1300 650 107 (8am-8pm, Monday to Friday).

Extend your cash flow by up to 45 days

Up to 45 days interest-free on credit purchases provided the total closing balance of the facility is paid in full by the statement due date each month. By instructing service providers to debit your credit card as soon after the statement date as you can, you could better utilise these interest-free days to improve cash flow.

Enjoy a range of complimentary insurance covers2 in accordance with the policy

Complimentary travel related insurance2  

  • Overseas Travel insurance (includes your spouse and certain dependent children) for up to 3 months - when overseas return tickets are purchased on your credit card before you leave
  • Interstate Flight Inconvenience insurance - cover for specified flight delays, loss or damage to personal items and more when flying interstate in Australia for trips of up to 14 days - when the entire cost of your return ticket is charged to your credit card before you leave
  • Transit Accident insurance - protection against specified accidental death or injury when sustained while riding as a passenger in a plane, bus, train or ferry.

Complimentary purchase related insurance2

  • Purchase Security insurance - cover of up to $5,000 for up to 90 days against specified loss, theft or damage to business items or personal goods purchased anywhere in the world using your credit card
  • Extended Warranty insurance - beyond the expressed Australian warranty on business items (by up to 3 months) and personal goods (by up to 12 months ) when using your credit card
  • Account holder's Guaranteed Pricing Scheme cover. Use your credit card to purchase business items or personal goods up to $350 anywhere in Australia and if you're the accountholder of the BusinessChoice Rewards facility, you're guaranteed the best price on the Australian market for that product or model where the price difference is greater than $75.

Complimentary business related insurance2

  • Account holder's Unauthorised Transaction insurance - receive automatic protection (up to $20,000 per cardholder and $150,000 per accountholder) against unauthorised transactions made by cardholders in a 12 month period (if you are the principal and the account holder of the card)
  • Account holder's Business Inconvenience insurance - cover for up to $10,000 a year if the accountholder's business premises are invaded during normal business hours, and up to $10,500 for recruitment expenses incurred for replacement of a cardholder unable to continue their employment.

Maximum credit limit

Your BusinessChoice Rewards has a maximum business credit limit of $50,000. If your business requires more than this amount, our Commercial cards with higher limits may suit your needs. Conditions apply.

A faster way to pay - contactless technology 

Your BusinessChoice Rewards Visa or MasterCard  comes with the added feature of contactless technology, which means at participating merchants you can now buy low-cost everyday items like newspapers, coffee and sandwiches without having to always carry cash.

Simply hold your Visa card or MasterCard against the contactless terminal at participating merchants to make a secure payment for purchases of under $100 - no need to enter a PIN or sign.

As well as not having to always carry cash, you'll also be adding to your Qantas Frequent Flyer points balance every time you use your card to buy everyday items.1

Manage your account online for greater convenience

Manage your account more securely from the convenience of your computer 24/7 (subject to availability). If the Principal(s) is/are registered for Online Banking, they can view up to date account balances and transaction history online. This means you will be able to manage cash flow and expenses.

Principals can receive a complete overview of multiple cardholders' spending quickly and easily through a monthly account statement.

Annual fee $150 for each credit card
Westpac Foreign Transaction Fee

The Westpac Foreign Transaction Fee may be payable. This fee is the sum of the Westpac Processing Fee and the Westpac On-Charged Scheme Fee.

Westpac Processing Fee A fee of 2.0% of the value of any purchase or Cash Advance/withdrawal transaction made in a foreign currency, following conversion into Australian dollars by the applicable Credit Card scheme, is payable. This fee will be incorporated into the Australian currency equivalent of the transaction shown on your statement.
Westpac On-Charged Scheme Fee

The Credit Card schemes also charge fees when processing Credit Card transactions made in foreign currencies. The fees are either charged during the process of converting the foreign currency amount into Australian dollars, or are charged separately to Westpac and passed on to you by us. The fees vary depending on the applicable Credit Card scheme:

  • Visa Worldwide Service Assessment Fee - 1.0%
  • MasterCard Issuer Cross Border Assessment - 0.8%
  • MasterCard Currency Conversion Assessment - 0.2%.
Cash advances
  • If your credit card account is in credit (has a positive balance) after a cash advance transaction, a flat fee of $2.50 is payable
  • If your account is in debit after a cash advance transaction, you will be charged 2% of the cash advance amount, with a minimum fee of $2.50 and a maximum fee of $150.

These charges will appear on your credit card statement directly below the relevant cash advance.

Missed payment fee

$9 each payment cycle

A fee of $9 is payable each statement cycle that the whole of the minimum monthly payment is not paid by the statement due date. If charged, the missed payment fee charge will be debited to your account.

Over-limit fee

$9 each time you exceed your limit.

A fee of $9 may be debited from your credit card account every time you exceed your credit limit during a statement cycle. It is debited from your account in that statement cycle on or after the day(s) your credit limit is exceeded. This fee may also be charged whenever your account is over the limit at the beginning of a statement cycle.

Duplicate statement fee

$7.50.

A fee of $7.50 may be debited from your credit card account when you request a statement that has already been issued for your account. This fee is debited from your account on or after the day you order the duplicate statement.
