Surf Life Saving Foundation Boardies Day 2009
Wear your boardies to work and make a donation to help keep our beaches safe.
During the summer months our beaches are kept safe by the thousands of Aussies who volunteer as surf lifesavers. Last summer they performed more than 13,000 rescues and 660,000 preventative actions. In fact, over the past 100 years they've saved over 500,000 lives.
You can help hoist the red and yellow flags by wearing your boardshorts to work on Boardies Day. Just front up in your favourite pair and make a donation.

Westpac is getting right behind Boardies Day on Friday November 27. Step into one of our branches and you could find our staff dressed for the occasion and getting into the spirit of the day while raising money for their local surf clubs.
Where does the money raised go?
All the money raised will be used to buy new equipment for surf clubs around Australia.
