Benefits

Remuneration

We apply 3 main pay principles to our remuneration. That it:

  • Remains competitive
  • Is linked to performance
  • Reflects our values and is fair and consistent for our people.

Our remuneration and benefits are regularly reviewed to fit with the needs of our people and the workplace.

How much super do we pay?

If you become a member of the Westpac Staff Super Accumulation Plan, or other approved alternative super fund we contribute:

1. A sum of 9% (uncapped) of your fixed salary, parental leave payments, paid sick leave, annual leave and long-service leave (except where you receive it as a lump sum when you leave Westpac, in line with super regulations).

2. Up to 9% (capped) on other payments including bonuses, commissions, shift and casual loadings, most allowances and over award payments.
